A+E Networks U.K. has joined forces with Sky and production company Nutopia to make a drama-documentary called The Royal Mob. The U.K. commission for Sky HISTORY tells the tale of the extended royal family — dubbed by Queen Victoria as “The Royal Mob” — that once ruled all of Europe, and how their love lives, marriages, and feuds dragged the continent into the world’s first total war and violent revolution. The series will air on Sky History in November 2022.
