Lionsgate has secured a deal with Emmy Award-winning writer and producer K.P. Anderson, who will create original, new series and formats through his Pygmy Wolf Productions banner. Previously, Anderson served as executive producer and head writer of E!’s pop culture series The Soup. Under the agreement, Lionsgate will have exclusive rights to alternative and scripted TV content produced by Pygmy Wolf Productions. This pact reflects Lionsgate’s move into the unscripted arena, with a roster that includes Monica The Medium on Freeform; RocketJump: The Show on Hulu; Christina Milian Turned Up on E!, among others.
