Fox Broadcasting Company has ordered Shots Fired, a new event series from 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. The series will star Sanaa Lathan as an investigator who must seek justice, while navigating media attention, public debate and social unrest. Gina Price-Bythewood (Beyond the Lights, The Secret Life of Bees) and Reggie Rock Bythewood (Beyond the Lights, Notorious) that examines the aftermath of a racially charged shootings in rural Tennessee. Shots Fired, set to debut in 2016, is written and executive produced by Gina Price Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood.
