Musical chairs at Condé Nast, Mattel, and Paramount.

Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch is leaving the New York-based media company, home to The New Yorker, Vogue, and Vanity Fair, to become CEO of Mattel, the El Segundo, California-based toy and entertainment company.

Mike Perlis, a former CEO of Forbes Media and Ziff Davis and Condé Nast’s lead independent director, will become the company’s interim CEO while the board searches for Lynch’s successor.

Ynon Kreiz is stepping down as Mattel’s chairman and CEO to join Paramount as co-CEO following the expected closing of Paramount’s merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. Paramount chairman and CEO David Ellison will remain chairman and CEO of the combined company, while Kreiz will oversee day-to-day operations and the integration of the combined businesses.
