Paris-based indie animation studio Millimages is presenting two original series developed in partnership with M6/Gulli: Benny and the Bin Buddies, now in production, and Calypso, currently in development.
Benny and the Bin Buddies is a 3D animated comedy for upper pre-school audiences. Created by Fabrice Ravier, the series follows Rodrigo, Maddy and Crumble, three racoons and garbage collectors, and Benny, their garbage truck, as they make their daily rounds through the quirky community of Nicelittletown.
Also developed in partnership with M6, Calypso is a 2D animated fantasy comedy adventure that follows Calypso, an 11-year-old girl living on a vibrant island. Every morning, Calypso discovers that the dreams and nightmares she experienced during the night have crossed over into the real world – often with unexpected, funny and sometimes chaotic consequences. As she navigates friendship, family and the everyday challenges of growing up, she must also deal with whatever her imagination has brought to life.
