ATV Distribution to Represent TIMSBI’s “Land of the Sun”

ATV Distribution is repping Land of the Sun (“Güneşin Doğduğu Yer”), a new drama series that premiered on the Turkish network atv on September 17.

The debut episode was the highest-rated primetime Turkish drama among the AB and ABC1 demos.

Produced by Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar of TIMSBI Productions, Land of the Sun is written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali.

Set between Berlin and Adana, the drama tells the story of Kenan, the charismatic heir to the powerful Kozan family, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with Leyla, a young woman raised in Germany. As family loyalties, hidden agendas and long-buried secrets collide, their love is tested by betrayal, separation and a relentless struggle for justice. Years later, Leyla’s return threatens to unravel the carefully protected secrets of two influential families, setting the stage for an emotional confrontation that spans generations.

The series stars Burak Özçivit and Beyza Gümülcine in the leading roles and features an ensemble cast including Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Görkem Sevindik, Devrim Yakut and Hilal Anay.
