Passion Distribution’s relationship format Virgin Island has now been commissioned by TV 2 Denmark, with Nordisk Film TV, part of Banijay Entertainment, producing the adaptation.
Following season 1 and 2 on the U.K.’s Channel 4, the deal marks the third international version of the format.
The commission follows adaptations by Dutch public broadcaster BNNVARA for the Netherlands (produced by Concept Street), as well as by RTL+ for Germany (produced by RTL Studios).
Recently wrapping filming in Greece, the Danish version will follow a group of young men and women as they confront their intimacy issues.
