Rai Ragazzi confirmed that the new 3D-animated The Smurfs series will air on Rai Yoyo in early 2022.
Produced by Peyo Productions and Dupuis Audiovisuel, the new series will feature Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and all the iconic little blue-skinned characters. Aimed at children between five and 10 years old, the 3D TV series will combine fast rhythms suitable for today’s viewers with an explosive dose of adventure and humor.
William Renaud is attached to direct, with Peter Saisselin and Amy Serafin as writers. The Smurfs is produced in collaboration with KIKA, TF1, VRT and RTBF.
