As part of Le Rendez-Vous Bi@rritz, TV France International and the Centre national du cinema et de l’image animée (CNC) released their report on the exports of French audiovisual programming.

According to the report, exports in 2019 reached 325.3 million euro, which was an 18 percent increase in a single year. Sales of French content abroad had a net increase of 12.8 percent at 195.6 million euro. In additional, sales of worldwide rights tripled over five years and earned a record level of 42.3 million euro.

Le Rendez-Vous Bi@rritz was also home to the 16th edition of the Export Awards. In the Animation category, Mediatoon Distribution won for The Fox-Badger Family (pictured). The Documentary Export Award went to The Party Film Sales for Cinema through the Eye of Magnum. Federation Entertainment won the Fiction Export Award for the first season of The Bureau.
