Mediaset Distribution signed with Greece’s Antenna Group for the sale of two telenovelas from the MGE catalog, Amanda (pictured) and If I were Rich.
Amanda follows a young nurse who is after revenge against the Santa Cruz brothers, who raped her when she was a teenager. Amanda will air on Makedonia TV during the last quarter of 2019. If I were Rich revolves around a group of people whose lives change when one of them wins the lottery. Kapa Studios is producing a local version for Antenna Group.
Manuela Caputi, head of Mediaset Distribution, stated, “We, MGE and Mediaset Distribution, are very pleased with this new deal, not only because our contents will be available through one of the top channels in Greece, but also because it confirms the boundless power that currently have high-quality productions and innovative stories, as a final product or as a format to be adapted. Amanda and If I were Rich, are both Mega’s contents – the leading channel in Chile for 5 consecutive years – and have been successfully aired not only in Chile but internationally, so we are very confident they will captivate Antenna’s audiences as well.”
