Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution (TCFTVD) licensed the scripted drama series This Is Us to Fox Networks Group (FNG) in Turkey.
This Is Us tells the story of the Pearson family across decades as the parents Jack and Rebecca take care of their kids. Gina Brogi, president of Global Distribution at TCFTVD, commented, “This Is Us is a number one show in the U.S. because it combines superb storytelling with compelling family themes and presents them in a truly unique and authentic manner. These themes are universal and ideal for local interpretation.”
MEDYAPIM will produce season one of the first local adaptation, which will air in October on the FOX channel in Turkey. FNG Content Distribution has also acquired the distribution rights to the Turkish adaptation.
