HBO Europe announced that production for its Norwegian series Beforeigners started.
Produced by Rubicon TV, the six-part drama series shoots on location in Oslo. Created by Anne Bjørnstad and Eilif Skodvin (pictured), Beforeigners takes place in a time when people from the past, called “beforeigners,” appear in the present. The series follows one man from the Viking Age who teams with a police officer to investigate the murder of a Stone Age woman.
Scheduled for a 2019 release, Beforeigners will broadcast exclusively on HBO Nordic and across HBO Europe territories, as well as on HBO in the U.S., HBO GO and HBO NOW.
