This year’s DISCOP Johannesburg will feature the Next Gen development and pitching program that will run parallel to the content market and co-production forum.
Organized in collaboration with the African Animation Network, Next Gen will emphasize Africa’s animation industry with its DISCOMICS portion, dedicated for animators to present works in progress to broadcasters, producers, and advertisers. Additionally, Next Gen programming will focus on new mobile distribution models, blockchain technology, new licensing and merchandising opportunities, and the video game sector.
DISCOP Johannesburg will take place from November 14-16, 2018.
