Entertainment programs from 13 countries have been nominated for a Rose d’Or award at the 57th annual ceremony, which will take place in Berlin on Thursday, September 13, and was organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The list of 39 nominees in 10 categories includes nominees from Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, the U.K., and the U.S. Nearly 500 programs from 300 broadcasters and production companies were submitted for this year’s awards.
This year’s Lifetime Achievement Rose d’Or will go to British actress and broadcaster Joanna Lumley of Absolutely Fabulous fame.
