Platform One Media signed a first-look television deal with Laura Dern’s and Jayme Lemons’ production company, Jaywalker Pictures.
The first project to move toward development as part of the collaboration is Mr. & Mrs. American Pie. Based on the debut novel by Juliet McDaniel, the one-hour series follows one woman’s journey to reconstruct her identity after being disregarded by her husband and society.
The series’ executive producers include McDaniel, Dern, Lemons, Platform One’s Elisa Ellis, and Inkshares founder Adam Gomolin. (Pictured: Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons.)
