Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer appointed Michael Wright as president of Epix, the premium pay TV network owned by MGM. Wright previously served as the chief executive officer of Amblin Partners. Wright begins in his new role on December 4 based out of MGM’s headquarters in Los Angeles. In his new role, Wright will lead EPIX into its next phase of expanded original programming and marketing efforts.
