Critical Content made a strategic investment in London-based Renowned Films, acquiring a key foothold in the U.K. market. This financing from Critical Content will allow Renowned to boost its roster of factual programming as well as expand the company’s digital and branded development in the U.K. and U.S. The terms of the investment require Critical Content to acquire the Renowned stake under Channel 4’s Growth Fund.
