The 70th edition of the Locarno Festival will honor the cinematographer José Luis Alcaine with the Vision Award TicinoModa. The award is given to individuals wo offer new perspectives in film. José Luis Alcaine will be awarded on August 10 in the Piazza Grande. The tribute will include screenings of the films La piel que habito, Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios, and Belle Epoque, all of which Alcaine worked on. In addition, he will be providing a Master Class on August 11. The Locarno Festival takes place from August 2-12, 2017.
