This year’s MIPCOM theme is “The Global Race For Creative Connections.” Executives from Movistar+ and Facebook will be delivering keynote addresses. Movistar+’s head of Original Programming, Domingo Corral is presenting a keynote on October 16 in which he will explain the content differentiation strategy of the Telefónica Group. On October 18, Facebook’s head of Global Creative Strategy, Ricky Van Veen, and the director of Video Product, Daniel Danker, will give their keynote on the role that video plays in connecting people online. MIPCOM 2017 will be held in Cannes, France from October 16-19.
