Amazon set a multi-show deal with Agatha Christie Limited for the U.S., adding a series of adaptations from Agatha Christie Limited to the lineup of Amazon Original Series. Ordeal By Innocence, the first adaptation of Christie’s stories, started production earlier in July in the U.K. The ensemble cast includes Bill Nighy, Alice Eve, Ella Purnell, and Matthew Goode, among others. Ordeal By Innocence follows the Argyll family as they must come to terms with Jack Argyll’s innocence in a family murder. Amazon Prime Video will be the exclusive premium subscription service for the series in the U.S.
