Greece’s first season of Rising Star, a format from Keshet International, premiered on December 11 on Antenna TV. 16-year-old contestant Giannis Xanthopoulos took the stage in the singing competition. In other Rising Star news, the format will also launch in India next year, on Colors Viacom 18. Ten international versions of the format have aired, including Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia and Hungary.
