London-based independent distributor Hat Trick International has signed new deals for Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons and distribution rights for Emma Read’s Emporium Productions’ new observational documentary Inside The Freemasons (pictured). Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons, which follows Paul Connolly as he goes behind the bars of some of the world’s most notorious prisons, has been acquired by TV and SVOD platforms in North America and around Europe, with deals concluded in Belgium (Medialaan), Denmark (DR), Finland (MTV Oy), Germany (Welt N24), Norway (SBS Discovery) and Sweden (TV4). Further pickups include Poland and pan-Africa (BBC Brit), Australia (Channel Nine) and New Zealand (Prime).
