Indigenous Media has named John Zhang as executive vice president of Marketing. Zhang previously served as vice president of Marketing at DanceOn, where he led audience development and network growth, show, series and brand marketing, PR, social media, digital media and influencer marketing. His team was responsible for the marketing and promotion of the #WatchMeDanceOn campaign, which received a Mashie Award for “Best Use of YouTube.” In his new role, he will also lead marketing strategy and promotion of the sequel to Indigenous Media’s hit Snapchat feature Sickhouse.
