European and Asian broadcasters have picked up nature and crime titles from California-based GRB Entertainment. Germany’s N24 acquired three crime programs, all originally produced for Discovery; Chain Gang: Maricopa County; County Jail and Hostage: Do or Die. N24 also took nature program Monster Bug Wars, an hour-long documentary highlighting tiny monster bugs with extraordinary weaponry. Cheers Media in Malaysia picked up two seasons of Full Force Nature, which highlights natural disasters including a storm chaser caught in the eye of a hurricane to a snowboarder trapped in an avalanche. Cheers also picked up Nature’s Revenge, a ten-title package that explores underwater encounters and brutal animal attacks.
