Malik Yoba Joins  “Designated Survivor” Cast

The Mark Gordon Company has cast Malik Yoba as a recurring character in seven episodes of Designated Survivor. The drama series, from The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios, stars Kiefer Sutherland, Natascha McElhone, Maggie Q and Kal Penn. Entertainment One (eOne) is handling international rights. InDesignated Survivor, Tom Kirkman (Sutherland), a lower-level cabinet member, unexpectedly becomes president after a devastating attack on Washington. Yoba will play Jason Atwood, the seasoned Deputy Director of the FBI. He’s a mentor, boss and occasional sparring partner with Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) as she conducts her investigation into who blew up the Capitol Building.
