U.K. broadcaster Channel 5, owned by Viacom, will unveil a new free-to-air TV channel in August. The channel, My5, will broadcast popular series from the network’s VOD platform and bouquet of channels. My5 will also carry shows connected to major program launches and events. The My5 channel will be accessible on Freeview, Freesat, Sky, Virgin Media, YouView, BT and TalkTalk, with further platforms to be announced later.
