Two co-hosts and judges have been chosen for Channel 4’s new competitive cooking series, My Kitchen Rules UK. Two-time Michelin Star awarded restaurateur Michael Caines MBE, and acclaimed food writer Prue Leith CBE, have been tapped to judge the contest, which assesses the home cooking skills of constants. In the competitive elimination format, 16 pairs of amateur cooks will create pop-up restaurants in their own homes, where they will prepare a menu of dishes for judges Prue and Michael and their rival contestants to critique. The series comes from independent production company 7 Wonder Productions.
