The first six films have been invited to the Berlin International Film Festival’s Perspektive Deutsches Kino 2016. The theme for the Perpektive is “Against Clear Causality: Making the Invisibile Visible,” and honors films that have a unique and nonlinear narrative style. Kamilla Pfeffer’s Wer is Oda Jaune (Who is Oda Jaune?), Katarina Stankovic’s Las cuatro esquinas del circulo (Four Corners of a Circle), and Jules Herrmann’s Liebmann made the cut, among others. The entire program of Perspektive Deutsches Kino will be announced in January, and the festival will take place February 11-21, 2016.
