Principal photography has started on Pustina (Wasteland), Stepan Hulik’s original drama series for HBO Europe. The series tells the story of economic and social upheaval in the Czech Republic, set in a village on the brink of extinction. The prospect of foreign mining interests divides the villagers: some wish to leave the town and seek opportunities elsewhere, while others cling to the community and its traditions. Nutpordukce and Etamp produce the series.
