Inter Medya will be handling international distribution of the new series “Sevdam Karadeniz,” produced by Mia Yapım — the prodco behind Hercai — and set to premiere on October 12 on NOW in Turkey.
The series will be known internationally as Black Sea, My Love and introduced to international buyers and industry professionals for the first time at the upcoming MIPCOM Cannes.
Currently filming on location in Trabzon, the series is set against the scenery and traditions of the Black Sea region, centering around the past unfulfilled romance between two families’ senior figures, Hafize Alazlı (Ayşegül Günay) and Durali Yeniceli (Şerif Erol), which, years later, sparks a renewed feud.
The generational conflict drags their grandchildren, Kuzey (Erdem Adilce) and Zeyşan (Meltem Akçöl), into a forced marriage. Caught between hidden secrets, past grievances, and intense pressure, the young couple must make a crucial choice that will shape the future of both families.
Written by Özge Korkmaz and Yeşim Gülay, and directed by Aytaç Çiçek, the cast also includes Deniz Hamzaoğlu, among other actors.
