Burak Özçivit, the leading star of ATV’s drama series Land of the Sun, will attend MIPCOM in Cannes, France. Portraying Kenan Kozan in the series, Özçivit will take part in the series’ global launch at the market.
Land of the Sun will be presented at ATV’s exclusive new season launch event at the Carlton Hotel on October 12. The event will bring together international broadcasters,distributors, media representatives, and industry professionals for the series’ first international introduction.
Land of the Sun, produced by TIMSBI Productions —with Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar as producers — is written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali.
The story follows Kenan, the charismatic heir to the powerful Kozan family, whose carefully controlled life changes when he falls in love with Leyla, a young woman raised in Germany. Their relationship sets off a series of conflicts involving family rivalries, betrayal, secrets, and hidden motives.
