Spain’s Council of Ministers has approved a €500,000 direct grant to strengthen the industry program of the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
The funding will support the festival’s industry activities, including initiatives focused on investment, technology and the future of the audiovisual sector. As part of the agreement, Spain’s Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service will become the sole sponsor of the festival’s industry section.
The measure forms part of Spain’s broader Audiovisual Hub strategy and is financed through the country’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
