Boat Rocker Studios has greenlit a second season of its animated series Dino Ranch: Island Explorers, with CBC, Radio-Canada and Warner Bros. Discovery on board as broadcast partners.
In season two, the Cassidy clan are back for another wild summer on Dino Island with Uncle Jack, but a mysterious dinosaur collector and her troublesome dino minions are about to unleash chaos across the island.
In addition to renewing Dino Ranch: Island Explorers, Warner Bros Discovery’s Cartoonito has also acquired seasons 1 and 3 of the original series, Dino Ranch.
Dino Ranch: Island Explorers is created by Industrial Brothers co-founder Matthew Fernandes and produced by Boat Rocker Studios and Industrial Brothers.
Boat Rocker manages global franchise development, including content distribution and brand management.
After launching in Canada on CBC, CBC Gem and CBC Kids YouTube in November 2025 and on Amazon Kids+ in the U.S. in April 2026, the first season of Dino Ranch: Island Explorers will debut on Warner Bros Discovery’s Cartoonito across Europe, the Middle East and Africa this fall.
The French version will air on the Radio-Canada platforms ICI TÉLÉ, ICI TOU.TV and the YouTube channel Zone Jeunesse de Radio-Canada in September.
