The DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF) will stage its eighth edition on September 25–26, 2026, at AMC Theaters at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Opening night will take place on September 25, with Academy Award nominee Randall Wallace set to receive DIFF’s Visionary Award. The evening will feature a retrospective screening of his film Braveheart, followed by a keynote and Q&A, as well as a reception benefiting his charity, Hollywood Habitats for Humanity.
New initiatives include DaVinci’s guest festival and Vancouver-based sister organization, RecFest, which will make its official debut with a slate of short documentaries; and “Rise UP,” an impact-forward initiative anchored by an Official Selection addressing the subject of child sex trafficking. Partners for Rise UP include title sponsor ALLY.org, Atlas Free, and ARC (Association for the Recovery of Children).
Among the returning programs, FilmAfrica and The Writers’ Corner—a two-hour in-theater program showcasing finalists from DaVinci’s screenwriting competition— will be back this year.
