THR Media’s biographical series Chespirito: Sin Querer Queriendo received the Award for National Production Series with the Highest Audience in Mexico at the 21st edition of the Luminus Awards, held on August 26, 2026, at the Estudios Churubusco in Mexico City.
The Awards — organized by The National Chamber of the Cinematographic Industry (CANACINE) — recognize the most outstanding productions and talent in Mexican cinema. This year, for the very first time, CANACINE introduced the category for National Production Series with the Highest Audience in Mexico, using measurement data provided by Parrot Analytics.
Chespirito: Sin Querer Queriendo details the life and career of Mexican comedian, actor, and writer Roberto Gómez Bolaños (Chespirito).
THR3 Media shared the honor with its partners at Warner Bros. Discovery, Perro Azul, and Grupo Chespirito, as well as all the cast and crew of the eight-part series, which has secured 13 awards to date, in addition to 23 international award nominations.
Chespirito: Sin Querer Queriendo is currently streaming on HBO Max, where it became the most successful Latin American production in the platform’s history.
