Disney+ has inked a one-year exclusive agreement with football star Gary Neville’s The Overlap network to broadcast its podcast Stick to Football and the new show Stick to United with Wayne Rooney covering the upcoming 2026/2027 football season.
Competing streamer Netflix also ventured into football podcasting earlier this year, streaming special World Cup editions of The Rest Is Football, featuring Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer.
Stick to Football, hosted by Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright, and Roy Keane, features a line-up of special guests discussing all things football. 40 new episodes will be available to stream on Disney+, alongside YouTube, with 20 episodes exclusive to Disney+ for a limited time.
Stick to United with Wayne Rooney is a new show, hosted by Wayne Rooneyand and Mark Goldbridge, which will analyze Manchester United’s latest results and performances. The program is set to debut with 50 episodes on Disney+, alongside the “The United Stand” YouTube channel, with extended episode content exclusive to the streaming service.
