America’s media mogul Ari Emanuel is buying a group of theaters from Britain’s ATG Entertainment for the equivalent of US$6.08 billion.

ATG owns theaters on Broadway in New York City and in London’s West End, as well as venues across Europe, the U.S., and the U.K.

Emanuel is chairman of Hollywood talent agency WME and CEO of TKO Group, the parent company of UFC and WWE.

ATG is being acquired by Mari Group, a separate live-entertainment company which Emanuel founded in 2025 and now includes sports, art, digital ticketing, and entertainment operations.

Mari has been assembling businesses around the “experience economy”and its holdings already include things such as the Miami Open and the Frieze art business.
