The 83rd Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles last night. One Battle After Another and Hamnet claimed the top film honors, while Netflix’s Adolescence won four TV awards, including best limited TV series.

HBO’s The Pitt won the top award in the TV drama category and Apple TV’s The Studio took home the top prize in TV comedy and best actor in a comedy (Seth Rogen).

Rhea Seehorn won the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV drama for Apple TV’s Pluribus; and Jean Smart won the best actress Globe for HBO’s Hacks in the TV comedy category.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s feature film One Battle After Another won best supporting actress (Teyana Taylor), best screenplay, best director, and best comedy. Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet won both best actress (Jessie Buckley) and best drama film.

Timothée Chalamet won best actor in a comedy film for Marty Supreme, and Wagner Moura won best actor in a drama film for The Secret Agent, which also took home the best foreign language film award.

The Golden Globes for Lifetime Achievement went to Viola Davis and Ted Danson.
