Jayda Imanlihen, founder of Black Girl Film School (BGFS), will headline a panel at the Amazon-sponsored Main stage of the ADCOLOR Conference on November 19 in Los Angeles.

Imanlihen will lead a session titled ‘The Future of Filmmaking with Black Girl Film School’ and will share the main stage with Latasha Gillespie, executive head of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Amazon Studios, Amazon Prime Video, and IMDb, and with Mariama Diallo, who directed the Regina Hall starrer Master, produced by Amazon Studios.

“We’re paving the way for an incredible rise in underrepresented voices. Our aim is to create a pipeline of success for Black women in the film industry. Black Girl Film School’s impact in shaping the future leaders in Hollywood will be something to watch out for,” said Imanlihen.

The ADCOLOR Conference — running from November 17-20 at the JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles —is presented by Amazon, Disney, Google / YouTube, and Meta.  The event is dedicated to celebrating and promoting professionals of color and diversity in the creative industries.
