Telemundo will present the Latin American Music Awards on April 15, 2021.

Produced by dick clark productions and SOMOS Productions, the star-studded event will recognize influential and iconic contemporary Latin artists, who are voted on by music fans. Actress Jacqueline Bracamontes, who previously hosted five seasons of La Voz México, will host the three-hour special, which will take place from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

The Latin American Music Awards were on a hiatus in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic. The 2019 edition of the awards ceremony featured musical performances from Farruko, Becky G, Daddy Yankee, and CNCO, among others.

Ronald Day, president of Entertainment and Content for Telemundo, stated, “During the last six years, the Latin AMAs has become a global platform for artists that truly resonate with their audience, as the winners are selected based solely on fans’ votes. We are excited to bring our viewers an impressive, star-studded musical event that will also extend across platforms with extensive and exclusive additional content.  With award-winning actress and host Jacky Bracamontes at the helm, we’re certain it will be an incredible show.”
