All3media International confirmed a slew of pre-sale agreements for It’s A Sin.
Produced by RED Production Company, It’s A Sin will debut on Channel 4 in the U.K. and will stream on HBO Max in the U.S. Written by Russell T Davies, the five-part drama series explores love and friendship during the 1980s AIDS crisis. The independent distributor announced pre-sales in Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and Australasia.
All3media International continues to expand its relationship with WarnerMedia. The series has been picked up by HBO Europe for Scandinavia, Portugal, Spain, and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as HBO Latin America for territories including Brazil, Uruguay, and Venezuela. In North America, Amazon Prime Video secured the series for Canada.
Additional European pre-sales include French platform Canal Plus picking up TV rights in France, NPO pre-buying the series for the Netherlands, and RTBF acquiring for French-speaking Belgium. Amedia will air the series in CIS and Russia. Dazzler Media took DVD rights for the U.K. and Ireland.
It’s A Sin will be available on the streaming service in Stan in Australia. TVNZ acquired the series for New Zealand, and RLJ Entertainment obtained home entertainment rights for ANZ.
Lastly, Korean streaming service WATCHA acquired rights in its first deal with All3media International.
