Banijay Rights confirmed that HBO Max will stream Two Weeks to Live in the U.S. starting November 5, 2020.
Produced by Kudos, a Banijay company, for Sky One and Now TV, the British comedy stars Maisie Williams in a comic tale of love and revenge that comes out of a prank gone wrong. Created by Gaby Hull, the six-part series follows Kim Noakes, a twenty-something oddball who sets out on a coming-of-age adventure to find her dad’s killer. Along the way, she brings on mismatched brothers Jay and Nicky into her scheme. The cast includes Sian Clifford, Taheen Modak, Mawaan Rizwan, Sean Pertwee, Thalissa Teixeira, and Jason Flemyng.
Matt Creasey, EVP of Sales, Co-Productions and Acquisitions Rest of World at Banijay Rights, said, “Banijay Rights is extremely proud to be partnering with HBO Max on Two Weeks to Live as a Max Original. With great writing and an exceptional cast, the series will keep U.S. audiences entertained and wanting more.”
