The Sky original series Das Boot will see a third season.
Produced by Bavaria Fiction and Sky Studios, the new season will continue to follow the drama set aboard a German submarine during World War II. Following a partnership with Samsung, Sky 1 customers with Samsung Smart TVs will be able to watch the season in 8K with a Dolby Atmos soundscape.
Production and plot information will be revealed in the future. NBCUniversal Global Distribution oversees international sales for the series.
