Banijay Rights, the distribution arm of Banijay, sold Adult Material to WarnerMedia’s HBO Max.
Produced by Banijay’s Fifty Fathoms for Channel 4, the four-part drama stars Hayley Squires in a story that asks serious questions about sex in the age of the internet. Directed by Dawn Shadforth and written by Lucy Kirkwood, the drama centers on British pornstar Jolene Dollar as she balances glamour on-camera and the reality of motherhood at home. HBO Max will stream Adult Material in the U.S. in December.
