Entertainment One (eOne) signed a deal with Discovery for the U.S. broadcast and SVoD rights to two new factual series, Lost Worlds and Hidden Treasures and Lost Relics of the Knights Templar.

Produced by Alleycats Films for BBC4, Lost Worlds and Hidden Treasures (pictured) explores the historical significance of three archaeological treasures: the Sutton Hoo burial treasure from the Dark Ages, the 40,000-year-old ivory sculpture known as Lion Man, and the stone sculptures known as the Olmec heads found in the jungles of Mexico. The three-part series, which has been commissioned for a second season, has been licensed to France, Australia, Spain, and China, among other countries.

Produced by eOne, Fired Up Films, and Krempelwood, Lost Relics of the Knights Templar follows treasure hunters Hamilton White and Carl Cookson as they discover a hoard of Knights Templar treasure. The series debuted in the U.K. on Sky History and has been licensed in Canada and Portugal.
