All3media International struck a slew of worldwide acquisition deals for All Creatures Great and Small across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Produced by Playground Entertainment for Channel 5 in the U.K. with PBS Masterpiece in the U.S., the series adapts the bestselling novels by James Herriot. The seven-part drama depicts adventures of a young country vet in the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s.
The independent distributor closed sales in South and Central America with Acorn Media. Acorn has also picked up the SVoD and DVD rights to the series for the U.K., Eire, and Malta. Sky Deutschland acquired broadcast rights in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Additional broadcasters include DR for Denmark, NRK for Norway, SVT for Sweden, and YLEISRADIO OY-TV1 for Finland. Filmin secured the series in Spain, while Viasat picked up rights in CEE. MTVA also obtained rights in Hungary. SVoD deals have been closed with BBC Global Channels for Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, and BBC Studios for their Taiwanese and African feeds.
