Abandoned is a touching drama set in an orphanage. The series takes viewers into the hearts of young children and shares what it means for them to love and be loved. The series was adapted in Thailand in 2019, with the Thai local version now streaming on Netflix.
Mikiko Nishiyama, managing director of International Business Development for Nippon TV, said, “We are so honored that Medyapim and MF Yapim took the same strategy that we did when we created Abandoned for the Japanese audience in casting these amazing young talents. It is very humbling to see how our format helped in bringing light to these young generations and we have so much confidence that this story will touch audiences with their proven strong performance, not only in Turkey, but also around the world.”
Tonight, l watched episode 11 of Cocukluk, the final show of this series. It is very difficult to understand why Fox Turkey has chosen to end the series. The storyline was beautiful and the performances were outstanding. The end of this series deeply saddens me, and I know my feelings are shared by many people in Turkey and around the world. I thank Fox Turkey
for having shown the first 11 episodes of Cocukluk, but l wish wholeheartedly that you will find some way to show the remaining episodes. Cocukluk bears witness to the resilience of the human spirit and our capacity to love unselfishly and heal from adversity. I cannot conceive of a more timely and necessary message for the world today. Thank you.
