Mediaset is commemorating the 30th anniversary of Donnavventura with a new season.
The hit documentary series features eight young women who form a team with the mission of traveling around the world to report on diverse locations and cultures. The new set for the series reopened in April, with all COVID-19 safety measures. Donnavventura has been on the air for 30 years on Rete 4 and Canale 5.
Giorgio Giovetti, head of Mediaset Distribution, commented, “We are incredibly happy to celebrate this important anniversary milestone of our hit documentary show, one of the first formats to return after the recent lockdown. We are now thinking about an international version in English with no-professional journalists from different countries. This is a unique format that we would like to re-launch to the international TV market.”
