DISCOP organizers have selected Vuulr, the B2B content rights marketplace, to power DISCOP Club, a new digital destination for African content producers to expand their sales across Africa and internationally.

DISCOP plans to premiere DISCOP Club at the in-person market held in Johannesburg from October 28-29, 2020. Organizers are looking to sign up over 200 independent producers from Africa. All content featured on DISCOP Club will also be shown on the Vuulr marketplace, which makes the content accessible to more than 2,000 additional international buyers registered with Vuulr.

Patrick Zuchowicki Jucaud, president of DISCOP, remarked, “Engaging buyers across Africa and internationally, online, will be a game-changer for Africa’s content industry. Before DISCOP Club, the high cost of gaining international sales created a barrier for African content producers. DISCOP Club will democratize the access to distribution, giving content creators from all over Africa the opportunity for their content to sell globally with no registration fee.”
