July 8 marked the start of the international non-scripted entertainment formats contest Small World. Big Ideas 2019. For the fifth year in a row, both beginners and veterans of the TV and formats business will compete for the title of the best, most innovative, and most original format creator. The final round will be held during the course of the international media forum Kyiv Media Week 2019, to be held September 16 to 19. The goal of the project, according to its organizers — Media Resources Management (Ukraine) — and its partners — international distributor Small World IFT (USA) and international audiovisual content market MIPCOM (France) — is to gather the most talented creators of innovative entertainment content under one roof and help the best of them go global. Submitted projects can be at any development stage, and the call for entries is open now until August 16, 2019.
